Call Me Crazy About Happy Endings

imageSo, I’m watching Happy Endings now and kind of wondering where all of these characters have been.
I mean, yes I’ve seen Elisha Cuthbert, playing the very beautiful Alex. You might know her from such things as 24, The Girl Next Door, House of Wax and Old School.  I’m pretty sure you have seen her work since she has been steadily working since 1996.
But the rest of these guys, I have no clue. I didn’t watch House long enough to remember Zachary Knighton, who plays the role of Dave. Eliza Coupe is awesome gorgeous, but come on…Scrubs?  I didn’t know she played in Scrubs.  Well, she plays Jane.
Adam Pally plays Max, the homosexual who gives the show the well-rounded appeal in such high demand these days.   I haven’t watched a thing that he’s done.  And Casey Wilson, the beautiful Penny, I guess I’ve just sort of missed her appearances on Jimmy Fallon and SNL.
Then you get down to that last character, Brad.  No clue at all.  Tried to rack my brain one time and think of things I might have seen.  No.  Nothing. Nada.
Throughout the course of the week, I picked up on the fact that Damon Wayans was going to be in the show.  So, I’m excited.  I’m a fan.  I’m ready to watch.  The show starts and Brad is on the phone, answering questions in rapid succession like he’s a robot.  It sounds like someone I’ve heard before.  It sounds like some other actor.  Hmm, what could his name possibly be?
So, I keep watching and I’m picking up on more and more about Brad.  His mannerisms.  The way he cracks a joke.  Call me crazy, but that’s about the time it hit me…this is Damon Wayans real son.
Damon Wayans Jr. people…that’s right, Damon Wayans Jr.!  Ok, I’m officially hooked.  And who would have thought an after Friends show like this would have had me hooked…wait a minute! 3 guys, 3 girls, two are married, one is gay.  Nah, can’t be.  Could it be?
