Hugh Hefner Will Lie In Peace Beside The Infamous Marilyn Monroe

The news shocked the world! Everyone thought Hugh Hefner was immortal. He’s not supposed to die.

But, he passed away peacefully at the mansion and that’s all anyone ever wanted for him. He was surrounded by friends and family as he took his last breath. That’s when word hit the internet. We all knew before the morning news had a chance to tell us.

So many people who knew him posted their condolences. You could feel their hearts ripping apart as they had to say goodbye to a true legend. He touched so many lives, people who didn’t know him at all were devastated by the news.

He wasn’t just a great businessman with the most innovative magazine of his time, even though Playboy is his legacy and it’s what he’s most known for throughout the world. He was also a civil rights activist and a very charitable man. He literally was one of the most phenomenal men of his time.

And just like the true legend he was, he made sure his final resting place was going to be special. I don’t know how it could get any more special than to be placed for eternity beside none other than Marilyn Monroe. She might have played roles that made blondes look like they weren’t too bright, but she was an icon. She was a role model for millions of fans who have yet to forget her, even over fifty years after her death.

When she died, Hugh Hefner made sure to get the grave next to hers at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles. It was worth so much to him, he paid $75,000 for it. Why did he want it so bad?

The answer to that is she was the special lady who helped him launch the Playboy enterprise when she appeared on its very first cover…

“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.” Marilyn Monroe
